The Food Court Guide
So CruTru09 is rockin’ right along and according to Twitter people are absolutely loving it and truly engaging in worship and message. (Remember to tweet with #CruTru09)
Since we are now all here, there are 1,300 college students in need of food. Conveniently, there is a mall right next door and it boasts a good food court. It is the most convenient but is it really worth it? Well I am here to help answer that question.
Following, will be a list of all the eating venues in the mall’s food court. Each will be rated by (1) average number of people in line, (2) average range of cost, (3) type of food, and (4) if water is free of charge.
- Dairy Queen; 4 people average, $3-5, hot dogs and desserts, No free water
- Moes; 7 people average, $7-9, burritos and quesadillas, Yes free water
- Chick-fil-a; 7 people average, $5-7, chicken everything, Yes free water
- Sakura Express; 6 people average, $6-8, asain cuisine, Yes free water
- M&M Soul Food; no waiting!, $7-9, fried chicken and ribs, Yes free water
- Steak Escape; 2 people average, $5-7, hot subs, Yes free water
- Sonic; 4 people average, $5-7, burgers and fries, Yes free water
- Cajun Big Easy; 3 people average, $6-8, chicken with rice, No free water (but free samples)
- Famous Wok; 4 people average, $5-7, rice/noodle dinners, No free water
- Mediterranean Greek; 2 people average, $6-8, gyros, No free water
- Subway; 5 people average, $6-8, cold subs, No free water
- Sbarro; 5 people average, $5-7, pizza and calzones, No free water
So, thats the food court in its full glory. As much as the big box food chains are appetizing, I would encourage the local ones. When else can you say you ate lamb in Greensboro or licked a wok clean in America? With what ever choice you make just make sure to eat well to worship well. Bone Appetit!
